      Today, the Caucasus International University is one of the nation’s leading private university, with the personal growth and professional development of its students as its main goal.

      It has been 29 years since the establishment of Caucasus International University (CIU) – LLC. Operating as a Legal Entity of Private Law, specifically a limited liability company, CIU was initially founded as a medical institute known as “Clinitsist” in 1995. The university obtained a license from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Georgia in the same year. In 2005, it achieved accreditation from the Accreditation Council of Higher Education Institutions. The following year, in 2006, the institute “Clinitsist” underwent a transformation, resulting in the creation of Caucasus International University – LLC, evolving into a multi-profile higher education institution.

      “University and its Programs are recognized and accredited by: the World Federation for Medical Education ( WFME); WHO; ECFMG; MCI; and JMC.

      Currently more than 4,000 students from more than 50 countries study at Caucasus International University. The university is notable for its diverse student life, exchange programs with top European universities, student employment policies, practicing lecturers, modern practical bases/clinics, and high social responsibility.
